Ather Energy’s Project Redux: A Glimpse into the Future of Electric Mobility
At its annual Ather Community Day 2025, Ather Energy showcased its vision for the future of performance electric two-wheelers by unveiling the “Project Redux” concept. This futuristic “moto-scooter” is not a production-ready model but rather a technological testbed and a design statement, highlighting the company’s ambition to push the boundaries of electric mobility.

Aerodynamic Bodywork
The front features a sharp, pointed design with a body-colored fairing and a steeply angled taillight, giving it a distinctive and aggressive look.
Exposed Frame
The scooter adopts an “inside-out” design philosophy, with its lightweight aluminum frame partially exposed, highlighting the brand’s engineering prowess.
Futuristic Seating
The seat is a unique 3D-printed mesh element, split into two separate pieces with a gap between them, flowing into a sharply styled tail section reminiscent of a performance motorcycle.

The scooter features a vertical screen with a new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) called “Morph-UI.” This interface is designed to be context-aware, dynamically changing its layout and displaying information based on the rider’s posture and riding style.

The throttle features haptic feedback, providing physical alerts to the rider through vibrations. This could be used for various purposes, such as indicating the end of a throttle range, a low battery warning, or the activation of regenerative braking.

This feature is essentially a form of launch control, designed to build power and alter the scooter’s ergonomics to optimize it for maximum acceleration from a standstill, providing an exhilarating performance boost.
