
Hyundai Celebrates a Decade of Creta with New ‘King’ Range
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Creta SUV in the Indian market, Hyundai Motor India has expanded its lineup with three new top-of-the-line trims: the Creta King, Creta King Limited Edition, and Creta King Knight. These new variants are positioned to offer a more premium and feature-rich experience, reinforcing the Creta’s strong presence in the competitive compact SUV segment. Bookings for the new range are now open, with prices starting from ₹17.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
What’s New with the Creta King Range?
1. Creta King: The Feature-Loaded Variant
Powertrain Options
The Creta King is available with all three engine options: the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol (manual and IVT), the 1.5-liter diesel (manual and automatic), and the 1.5-liter turbo petrol (DCT).
Exterior Features
It gets new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a unique ‘King’ emblem, and a new Black Matte paint option.
Interior and Comfort
The cabin receives major upgrades with an 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat with a walk-in function and a driver seat with a memory function. Other new features include a dashcam, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a sliding front armrest with storage.
2. Creta King Limited Edition
Exclusive Touches
This edition comes with ‘King’-branded seat belt covers, headrest cushions, carpet mats, key covers, and door cladding.
Limited Powertrains
This trim is offered only with the 1.5-liter petrol IVT and the 1.5-liter diesel automatic powertrains.
Color Options
The King Limited Edition is available in three colors: Abyss Black, Atlas White, and the new Black Matte.
3. Creta King Knight: The All-Black Aesthetic
All-Black Theme
This edition features an all-black exterior with 18-inch matte-black alloys and Knight badges, setting it apart from the standard range.
Feature Package
It shares the same feature list as the Creta King, including the dashcam, powered front seats, and dual-zone climate control.
Limited Powertrains
Like the Limited Edition, the King Knight is only available with the 1.5-liter petrol IVT and the 1.5-liter diesel automatic.

Creta King
Prices start from ₹17.88 lakh for the 1.5L MPi petrol manual and go up to ₹20.91 lakh for the 1.5L diesel automatic (all prices ex-showroom).
King Knight
The King Knight starts at ₹19.49 lakh for the petrol IVT variant.
King Limited Edition
The King Limited Edition is priced at ₹19.64 lakh for the petrol IVT variant and goes up to ₹20.91 lakh for the diesel automatic variant.
In a move that benefits a wider range of customers, Hyundai has also announced that several of the new features—including dual-zone climate control, wireless smartphone connectivity, a dashcam, and 18-inch wheels—will now be available on other select variants of the standard Creta as well as the sportier Creta N Line. This strategic update ensures that the Creta remains a highly competitive and desirable offering in the Indian SUV market.
